Basic Education in the Arts

Basic Education in the arts is primarily directed to children and young people. Basic education in the arts is its own form of education that involves target-oriented instruction that proceeds from one level to the next every year. Education is available for example in establishments providing instruction in music, dance, visual arts, architecture, crafts, theater, circus, and literary art.

Basic education in the arts gives the students abilities to express themselves using artistic methods. If they choose to, they may also continue their studies on a vocational or university level.
