Municipalities are required to provide civic orientation courses for integration services customers in their mother tongue or another language in which they are proficient, taking into consideration the service and language needs of integration services customers in the municipality.

At minimum, the civic orientation courses must include information about housing, working, and living in Finland, about the functioning of Finnish society, and about the rights and duties of individuals.

Multilingual civic orientation courses for the residents of the municipality of Sipoo are offered by the Sipoon Opisto Adult Education Centre and the Keravan Opisto Adult Education Centre together.
