Pilvijärvi Beach

Pilvijärvi beach is a public beach located next to the Pilvijärvi nature reserve. The beach is very popular on warm summer days, so why not to take a refreshing dip in the natural waters of the lake! A nature trail complete with duckboards goes around the entire Pilvijärvi lake. It takes about one hour to walk the entire trail. You can also stop for a little breather and eat a sandwich on a high hill, enjoying the lake view at the same time.

There is also a swimming place for dogs at the southern end of the lake. Pilvijärvi beach has a parking lot for 20 cars by the Möträskintie road.

  • The beach kiosk is open during the summer (weather permitting)
  • The parking beam is open daily between 8:00 - 22:00 (exception: Midsummer evening and Midsummer Day between 8:00 - 20:00) during the parking monitoring season
  • Dogs or other animals are not allowed on the beach

Not maintained in winter

Smoking is prohibited on the beach areas from the beginning of May until the end of September
