Erasmus+ KA122-ADU: Crafting Together – A European Exchange for Modern Learning Environments

In summer 2026, Sipoo Institute (Sibbo institut) received Erasmus+ funding from the Finnish National Agency for Education for the project Crafting Together – A European Exchange for Modern Learning Environments.

Key themes of the project

    • Strengthening digital skills as part of everyday learning

    • Combining craft skills and digital competencies

    • Promoting inclusion and equal opportunities

    • Environmentally responsible learning solutions

    • European cooperation and intercultural exchange

The project aims to develop innovative online and hybrid craft courses in which digital skills are learned naturally through hands-on creative activities. The idea is to combine craft skills and digital competence in a way that makes technology more approachable and inspiring, especially for people who would not normally participate in digital skills training.

Through this project, we seek to create accessible and supportive learning environments where as many people as possible can participate regardless of their background or circumstances. Online and hybrid learning opportunities enable participation for individuals who may find attending face-to-face courses difficult due to health-related, physical, psychological, or geographical reasons.

During the project, we will establish and strengthen partnerships with educational institutions and organisations across Europe. Our goal is to exchange experiences in online and hybrid learning, learn new practices from one another, and jointly develop innovative and accessible learning environments.

Craft skills form an important part of Europe’s cultural heritage. Sharing knowledge, traditions, and learning methods across borders helps to strengthen community spirit, cultural understanding, and European cooperation.

We Are Looking for Partners

We are currently seeking project partners from different European countries. As soon as partnerships have been established and cooperation begins, we will provide more information about our partners and activities on this page.
